This HOUSING OFFICER T32 position is with Army National Guard Units (Department of the Army) in Phoenix, AZ. THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a HOUSING OFFICER T32, PDD0605000 and is part of the AZ JFHQ ARMY, National Guard. Key duties: • This position is located at the 215th Regiment, Regional Training Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. The incumbent is responsible for managing the housing at a major training area which includes such temporary quarters as barracks. BOQ's, BEQ's. and VIP housing as well as other troop buildings (e.g.. administrative buildings, and dining facilities).The work requires supervision of warehouse workers, clerks, laborers, custodians, and maids. A substantive portion of the subordinates are supervised through the use of a subordinate supervisor. THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. Qualifications: Military Grades: SGT/E-5 to MSG/1SG/E-8 Compatible Military Assignments: Must possess any Army MOS SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-07: Must possess at least 12 months experience, education or training determining deficiencies of housing and coordinating the required services to correct the deficiencies. Experience reviewing housing applications for accuracy and completeness. Experience monitoring housing assignments in accordance with appropriate rules and procedures. Experience in conducting audits and preparing reports. Experience using automated systems to update, retrieve and analyze data. GS-09: Must possess at least 24 months experience, education or training coordinating movement and accountability of equipment. Experience conducting audits and preparing reports. Experience which demonstrated the knowledge of basic principles, techniques, and methodology pertaining to the management planning, scheduling, coordinating and efficient use of Government-owned housing facilities. Experience developing and implementing a variety of directives and instructions concerning the full range of billeting activities for application by residents and lower-level housing personnel.
