Patient Access Representative - Emergency Registration

This Patient Access Representative - Emergency Registration position is with Phoenix Children's in Phoenix, AZ. Posting Note: Patient Access Representative - PRN (As Needed) Join our Patient Access team and enjoy the flexibility of a PRN schedule while making a difference in the lives of children and families. As a PRN Patient Access Representative, you'll support patient registration and front-end operations in our Emergency Department at Main Campus. This role is ideal for someone looking for a flexible schedule while remaining an active member of a collaborative healthcare team. PRN Requirements: Must be available to work a minimum of 2 shifts per week (approximately 8 shifts per month). For Emergency Department assignments, availability must include at least one weekday and one weekend shift. Shift and weekend differentials will apply to applicable shifts! The Patient Access Representative performs efficient and orderly registration of all patients. Acts as primary liaison for patients receiving professional and hospital services at Phoenix Children's. Prepares admission forms, obtains necessary documentation and signatures, and confirms demographic information when the patient and/or guarantor present for services. Collects co-pay and deductible amounts at time of service. Some travel from site to site may be necessary based on business needs of the department.
