This Senior Manager Replenishment position is with Sprouts Farmers Market in Phoenix, AZ.
Overview
This position is located at our Store Support Office in Phoenix, Arizona, and operates on a hybrid schedule (in office Tuesday–Thursday).
The Senior Manager of Perishable Replenishment is a key leadership role within the Supply Chain organization, responsible for overseeing replenishment, forecasting, inventory management, and team development for assigned perishable categories. This leader ensures the right product is available at the right place and time by driving inventory flow from suppliers through distribution centers to stores, while delivering strong performance against key metrics including fill rate, inventory turns, freshness, shrink, and dwell.
The Sr. Manager partners closely with Merchandising, Merchandise Planning, Store Operations, Distribution Centers, Quality Control, and suppliers to achieve company goals related to sales, margin, inventory productivity, and customer service. This role leads a team of Demand Planners and Replenishment professionals, providing strategic direction to improve forecast accuracy, optimize inventory investment, and maintain exceptional in-stock positions and product freshness.
As Sprouts continues to grow its store footprint and supply chain capabilities, this leader will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, leading change, developing talent, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to support the company's long-term growth and success. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Self-Distribution, the Sr. Manager helps shape and execute replenishment and inventory strategies across the business.
Overview of Responsibilities
• Lead a team of Demand Planners, Sr. Replenishment Analysts, and Replenishment Analysts to achieve sales, margin, fill rate, dwell, shrink, and inventory turn goals.
• Partner directly with Category Managers, Category Directors, and Merchandise Planning teams to ensure forecasts align with business objectives and future growth plans.
• Collaborate with Category Managers and Vendor Collaboration teams to address supplier performance issues related to fill rate and on-time delivery expectations.
• Work closely with the Replenishment Operations team to drive continuous improvements in tools, processes, and training based on team feedback.
• Actively participate in leadership meetings, identifying opportunities and recommending actions to achieve company goals.
• Communicate complex technical and non-technical concepts clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members to support professional growth, engagement, and succession planning.
• Serve as a key leadership contributor in promoting Sprouts' core values of Caring, Owning It, and Celebrating Our Differences.
• Travel as needed to stores, distribution centers, vendors, and industry events to support business objectives and strengthen cross-functional partnerships.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred with a minimum of ten (5) years of experience in produce buying; or an acceptable combination of education and experience
• Ability to successfully manage concurrent projects and meet deadlines.
• Ability to supervise personnel effectively.
• Ability to preserve confidentiality of information.
• Sense of urgency with the ability to prioritize.
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, & Outlook).
• Commitment to excellent customer service.
