Supervisor, Sterile Processing Dept

This Supervisor, Sterile Processing Dept position is with Phoenix Children's in Phoenix, AZ. The Supervisor, SPD promotes and facilitates surgical instruments/equipment across all specialties under the direction of the Sterile Processing Manager. The Supervisor operations of Sterile Processing will also be responsible for enhancing a working relationship with the surgical staff , promoting a team-focused environment. The Supervisor promotes compliance with policies and procedures and compliance with regulatory agencies. Additionally, the Supervisor must be knowledgeable of decontamination, instrumentation, sterilization, and the building of case carts. The Supervisor is also responsible to ensure the processing of any sterilized product across the hospital. This position may fill in for the manager when the manager is absent.
