This SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (CLASSIFICATION) position is with Commander, Navy Installations Command (Department of the Navy) in Phoenix, AZ. You will serve as a SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (CLASSIFICATION) in the Civilian Human Resources Division (N13) of COMMAND, NAVY INSTALLATIONS COMMAND (CNIC). Selectees in the National Capital Region (NCR) will report to Washington Navy Yard, If selected outside of the NCR, selectee must be able to report to a CNIC installation - https://www.cnic.navy.mil/Map/ Key duties: • You will serve as the Principal Classifier responsible for position management and position classification program policy implementation guidance, administration, oversight, and execution across the CNIC enterprise. • You will provide expert advisory and technical services to senior level leadership, line managers, and supervisors on a broad range of complex and controversial classification issues. • You will analyze and interpret a wide variety of classification and/or organizational issues and formulate solutions. • You will organize, plan and assign work, sets priorities, and monitor workflow of subordinates based on priorities. Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing expert advisory and technical services to senior level leadership, line managers, and supervisors on a broad range of complex and controversial classification issues; 2) Serving as an expert adviser on planning and implementing reorganizations that may have command wide impact, 3) Interpreting and explaining position classification laws, regulations, standards, Office of Personnel Management (OPM)/Department of Defense (DOD) directives and third party findings.
