This Supv, Pat Access Fin Counseling position is with Phoenix Children's in Phoenix, AZ. Reporting to the Patient Access Financial Clearance Center Manager this position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of financial counseling activities. The Financial Counseling Supervisor assists in the supervision by functioning as a group/team mentor and resource liaison. Responsible for leading, training, and motivating team members. In addition, this position is responsible for reviewing staff work schedules, monitors daily productivity of the staff, and reallocates duties as needed to assure the timely completion of duties. Responsible for collecting pre-service and time of service payments. This position must advise and educate families and patients of the financial assistance policies and assist families and patients in accessing financial resources available for their care.
