This SUPV PROGRAM ANALYST (PROJECT MANAGER) position is with Defense Information Systems Agency (Department of Defense) in Fort Huachuca, AZ.
This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the SUPERVISION/MANAGEMENT Work Category at the SENIOR Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA - FE/IT Services Division.
Key duties:
• Provides administrative program direction in project management, project execution, and personnel administration.
• Plans, schedules, and conducts projects and studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Life Cycle Replacement and Modernization Projects
• Provides technical guidance and expertise, recommending or validating changes to proposed schedules and timelines. Manages the team of Project Managers overseeing all Life Cycle Replacement or Modernization projects
• Manages timeliness of project deliverables-requires effective planning, scheduling, and management of resources to ensure timely completion of project phases.
• Analyzes competing requirements, schedule changes, funding variations, and recommends realignment of schedules and reallocation of available resources among program elements to best fulfill mission requirements for essential programs.
Qualifications:
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below. Qualifying Experience: To qualify at the GG-14, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience leading IT project management/planning and budget analysis, or contract development/management and IT life cycle management.
