Job Title: Warehouse Technician (Day shift) Department: Warehouse Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor Summary Receives, stores, and distributes material, equipment, merchandise and supplies in the warehouse. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas. • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence. • Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, or other stock items and distributes items to various casino properties. • Opens bales, crates, and other containers. • Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed. • Uses computer to enter records. • Drives vehicles to transport stored items from warehouse to casino properties or to pick up items from various locations. • Adheres to all company safety policies, procedures and responsibilities concerning accident prevention including reporting any safety concerns to a supervisor immediately. • Maintains the work area and equipment in a safe, clean and orderly condition. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1-year warehouse experience and/or training required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Must have a valid Arizona Drivers license (commercial driver’s license preferred) and must meet MVR requirements to be authorized to operate a company vehicle. Computer Skills Must have basic PC skills. Other Qualifications Must be able to operate a pallet jack, forklift, weight scale, pull carts and dollies filled with items.  Must be able to get along with co-workers and be a team player.  Must have good communication skills.  Must present a well-groomed appearance. Language Skills Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to high, precarious places and secondary smoke. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
