This Applications Dev Programmer Analyst II (Multiple Positions) position is with University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ.
Design, build, deliver, and maintain core University Identity systems included but not limited to Shibboleth Identity Provider (WebAuth SSO), Enterprise Directory Service (EDS), Grouper Enterprise Group Management, SailPoint, and UA NetID. Responsible for new feature implementation, which involves research into the appropriate platform, design, testing, and delivery. Handle incoming user service requests for supported applications. This involves prioritizing work, and excellent communication with the requesting department to ensure a high-quality result is delivered. Assist other team members in fulfilling user requests when needed. Provide operational stability to in-house custom applications built by various UITS teams over the past 15 years. Team has inherited dozens of applications written by other developers over time. Perform complex code analysis and reverse-engineering efforts when no subject matter expert still exists at the University. Document discoveries to assist future development and increase security and stability of services. Participate in Department and University level planning and analysis for Identity and Access Management related systems. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of Unix / Linux computer operating systems. Knowledge of SailPoint IGA Platform. Knowledge of at least one programming language. Knowledge of computer systems administration or programming theory, principles and practices. Skill in installing, configuring and maintaining computer operating and application systems and utilities. Skill in providing technical information and support to technical and non-technical users.
