Clinical Nurse - Pulmonary

This Clinical Nurse - Pulmonary position is with Phoenix Children's in Phoenix, AZ. Posting Note: Our Pulmonary Clinic is looking for an experienced full-time nurse to join the team. In this role, you will support a group of 1 - 2 providers, and patients who visit the clinic on a regular basis for care. Because of the specialty, we are looking for a nurse with a minimum of 2+ years of experience. You will be working in the clinic alongside the providers. This is a small team of medical professionals who work primarily with children who have general pulmonary issues and neuromuscular (DMD, SMA), and there will be a large number of patients with chronic asthma problems. Incumbent will be the point person for the patients when they come in, and offer education, and solutions to the needs of the patient and their families. This position is M - F, 8 AM - 5 PM; Manager may consider 4/10's after orientation, and performance based. After 6 months, may offer one day a week of WFH for admin work. This is one of our busier clinics, but the best part is that the clinics have NO WEEKENDS, NO HOLIDAYS and NO CALL!!! This position will be located at our primary hospital in Central Phoenix. NO New Grads, please. This position, in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient, and family, coordinates and promotes patient health utilizing evidence-based practice in the delivery of professional nursing care across the care continuum. This position advocates for the patient and family adhering to nursing and medical plans of care, regulatory standards, and organizational values.
