Clinical Nurse - Vascular Access

This Clinical Nurse - Vascular Access position is with Phoenix Children's in Phoenix, AZ. Posting Note: Phoenix Children’s is seeking an experienced Vascular Access Nurse for a part-time (0.6 FTE) Day/Mid Shift opportunity at our East Valley Campus. In this highly specialized role, the nurse will provide vascular access services across the hospital and outpatient clinics, including PICC line insertions, ultrasound-guided IV placements, and blood draws. Ultrasound-guided IV experience is required. Pediatric experience is preferred. The ideal candidate is a self-driven, clinically strong RN who can work independently throughout the hospital while supporting pediatric patients with vascular access maintenance. This team plays a critical role in ensuring safe and effective vascular access care for all children we serve. Required Experience: Vascular Access, ICU, CVICU, Emergency Department, or Trauma Nursing Ultrasound-guided IV insertion experience Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to collaborate closely with providers regarding orders Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric nursing experience Flexibility to float to other Phoenix Children's campuses as needed. Note: If hired for East Valley, you must be open to train and work at the Thomas Campus until the East Valley Campus opens. This position requires prior nursing experience.
