This Clinical Research Coordinator I - Department of Surgery position is with University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ.
Assist with promotion/recruitment of research participants. Maintain retention by following up with participants in long-term clinical trials. Gather consent forms for approval by Human Subjects Panel. Complete study data entry in various electronic data systems. Update recruitment and screening materials, compliance forms and tracking documents. Under direction of the PI and Senior lab members, assist with new protocol submissions, renewals, and revisions to Institutional Review Board (IRB) for multiple studies. Support the IRB process by gathering required documentation and assist with maintaining compliance. Analyze trends and data in recruitment and assure there is a limited number of competing trials. Make recommendations for a variety of options within a trial. Track physician regulatory compliance. Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of study protocols and schedule of activities. Ability to analyze trends and data in recruitment and assure there is a limited number of competing trials. Skill in evaluating and recommending a variety of options within a trial.
