Clinical Research Coordinator I, Psychiatry

This Clinical Research Coordinator I, Psychiatry position is with University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. Coordinate and conduct study visits and protocol-required research procedures including participant consenting, screening, training on collection of breastmilk and saliva samples, and administration of questionnaires. Communicate regularly with study participants to provide instructions, answer study-related questions, and support completion of study procedures. Enter, maintain, and verify research data and biological sample information in study databases and research records. Conduct and support participant recruitment activities, including outreach to community and clinical partners and communication with prospective participants. Prepare and maintain study documents and regulatory materials for submission to the IRB, working faculty and research staff. Coordinate study scheduling, participant tracking, and maintenance of study records/files. Assistant with administrative and operational activities associated with the research program, including purchasing, receipts, supplies, and coordination with internal university departments. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Demonstrated strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational skills. Attention to detail. Ability to multitask using effective time-management skills. Comfortable navigating electronic databases and research data systems. Ability to work professionally and sensitively with pregnant/postpartum participants and families.
