This Contact Representative position is with Military Treatment Facilities under DHA (Department of Defense) in Fort Huachuca, AZ. About the Position: This position is located within Raymond W Bliss Army Health Center, Fort Huachuca, AZ Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Key duties: • Maintain tracking systems for problem resolution and conduct in-service training to improve clinic staff awareness of patient perceptions. • Direct the Customer Service Program to educate patients and staff on healthcare options, rights, and responsibilities. • Ensure all guidance materials related to CHAMPUS (Civilian Health and Medical Program of the Uniformed Services) and TRICARE are current and accessible. • Develop and implement communication strategies including news releases, bulletins, meetings, and seminars to keep the population informed. • Manage beneficiary claims and billing issues by tracking and resolving investigations within regulatory timeframes, acting as a liaison with Fiscal Intermediaries. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes patients, conducting investigations to identify opportunities for process improvement or staff training needs, and presenting oral or written materials to educate patients. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
