Enterprise Project Lead

This Enterprise Project Lead position is with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (Department of Health and Human Services) in Phoenix, AZ. This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of Strategy Performance and Results (OSPR), Enterprise Performance and Results Group (EPRG). As an Enterprise Project Lead, you will serve as a key member of the OSPR team providing staff-level leadership on projects and tasks for internal clients across CMS that support the OSPR mission. Key duties: • Creating innovative solutions to develop strong data analytics, dashboards, and interpretations to support enterprise-wide needs. • Developing, maintaining, and analyzing integrated project plans, schedules and/or timelines for designated high priority, mission-critical projects. • Developing detailed project plans and strategies for long-range implementation, administration, and evaluation of programs, including the development of criteria to evaluate the effectiveness of programs. • Identifying project dependencies and potential risks and the accurate reporting of project status. • Writing regulations and sub-regulatory guidance to implement program policy, processes, or procedure changes. • Representing OSPR on agency, interagency, and cross-sector committees or workgroups of national importance and as a recognized authority on CMS program and project management issues. In order to qualify for the GS-14, you must meet the following: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include: (1) Leading enterprise-wide data analytic projects that span multiple components or are a result of Administration priorities or executive orders (e.g., organizational health metrics, return to work metrics, building utilization reporting, key performance indicators etc.), and the teams associated with the work; (2) Using innovative solutions to develop strong data analytics, dashboards, and interpretations to support enterprise-wide needs; and (3) Facilitating high level briefings, while using data to help drive decision making. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
