This INTERDISCIPLINARY SCIENTIST/ENGINEER position is with Naval Air Systems Command (Department of the Navy) in Marine Corps Air Station - Yuma, AZ.

Key duties:
• You will lead and manage test and evaluation efforts and are responsible for: identification of critical program test elements; translating engineering test requirements into test plans ...
• You will be responsible for definition of functional requirements for future test facilities, equipment, and instrumentation systems.
• You will serve as the lead for the development of data analysis plans and data analysis summaries; crucial documents to support the resolution of measures and critical operational issues for a program.
• You will ensure traceability from requirements documents to measures and data requirements providing the required rigor for test planning and reporting.
• You will Providing support during the Operational Test and Evaluation (OT and E) for various aircraft and systems for the Marine Corps Operational Test and Evaluation Squadron One (VMX-1) to include MV-22, H-1, H-53, F-35, and UAS.
Qualifications:
In addition to the basic education requirements, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DP-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: Leading the development of data analysis plans and summaries to resolve critical operational issues and program measures; Ensuring traceability from requirements to data collection, providing the necessary rigor for test planning, design, and reporting; Supporting OT&E in realistic environments for VMX-1 aircraft platforms (MV-22, H-1, H-53, UAS) and specialized systems (survivability, electronic warfare, digital interoperability); AND Demonstrating in flight test data evaluation, data reduction, deficiency documentation, and the development of final evaluation reports within a mixed military, civilian, and contractor team.
