IONM Specialist I

This IONM Specialist, EEG, NCV position is with Phoenix Children's in Phoenix, AZ. Posting Note: The IONM Specialist I will also perform routine and complex EEG, NCV, EP, EMU monitoring, and other misc. procedures independently according to facility policy and procedures at an advanced level consistent with the Phoenix Children's Neurodiagnostic Tech II position. The Intraoperative Neuromonitoring (IONM) Specialist I is a mid-level position for intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM). The IONM Specialist I performs IONM procedures appropriate to their competence, including test setup, electrode application, maintaining patient safety, and other related duties. Strong, well-developed communication skills, and teamwork are essential for this position. During IONM procedures for which competence has not been achieved, the IONM Specialist I trains under direct technical supervision. Once training is completed and all required institution competencies have been achieved, the IONM Specialist I works under indirect technical supervision.
