This Maintenance Worker Leader (Seasonal) position is with National Park Service (Department of the Interior) in Tucson, AZ.
You will serve as a Maintenance Worker Leader (Seasonal). This position is a working leader assigned responsibility for building and utility maintenance work. The position provides daily direction to at least 3 employees. The typical seasonal entry-on-duty is April-October but can be variable during these months due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding. Anticipated Entry on Duty: April-May 2027. Key duties:
• Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: As a working leader performs and leads work in the following trades: carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, cement finishing, and masonry. Construct, install, repair and replace items such as doors, shelves, supply racks, hardware. Paint various types of structures such as interior and exterior metal, wood and masonry surfaces, and a variety of wooden trim and new and old cabinets. Make independent judgments and decisions within the framework of instructions, accepted practices, and procedures. Follow and carry out assignments in accordance with established oral or written directions, or established policies and practices. Assemble appropriate materials and supplies necessary to complete daily work projects.
