This position starts at a salary of $125,776.00 (GS-14, Step 1) to $163,514.00 (GS-14, Step 10). The Major Duties for this position are listed below but not limited to: Providing analytical tools and methodology to comprehensive knowledge of management issues and programs for the development and/or implementation of laws, policies and regulations. Organizing and coordinating thorough, systematic, professional efforts to meet the complex planning needs and unanticipated requirements and to provide written and oral reports with conclusions, alternatives, and recommendations on national policies, projects, or studies. Planning, organizing, and directing team/task force efforts across organizational lines, including the ability to monitor progress to ensure the realistic objectives and milestones are established, to clearly assign responsibilities, and to accomplish mission requirements in a timely manner. Communicating both orally and in writing effectively and the ability to grasp conceptual ideas and exercise original thought where there is an established time limit for deliberation, consultation, and evaluation, and to present well-considered and sound suggestions. Qualifications: Experience: You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Analyzing and evaluating complex administrative, management, or mission-support programs to assess effectiveness, efficiency, productivity, and alignment with organizational goals; Planning, conducting, or coordinating special studies, projects, or task forces involving complex program, policy, management, or operational issues; Developing recommendations, policies, procedures, or process improvements based on qualitative or quantitative analysis of program data, management information, or operational requirements; Advising senior managers or program officials on planning systems, management controls, resource allocation, organizational structure, program performance, or operational impacts; Preparing and presenting reports, briefings, impact statements, policy recommendations, or decision materials to support senior leadership decisions.
