This Multimedia Design Assistant II, Psychiatry(Part-Time) position is with University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. Archiving Grand Rounds and conference videos. Creating promotional collateral for department programs (including its fellowships, continuing education events, research recruitment, internal and external events, alumni outreach, and more) for newsletters, social media, graphic design, marketing, direct email, creating editing videos, more; includes meetings to plan and implement. Creating PowerPoint slides for faculty meetings and other departmental presentations. Analytics and metrics for event reports, social media accounts and website traffic. Assisting with event planning, graphics, production, and post-production. Includes meetings to plan and implement. Database management for listservs, outreach, conference, event and alumni mailing lists. Website updating and maintenance for program pages (education, research, events), faculty and staff profile pages, news and events pages, resource and archive pages, etc. Knowledge of and compassion for people with mental health illnesses and psychiatric conditions. Graphic design and analytic skills are imperative. Attention to detail is a must, as is a good attitude, the ability to take direction, and the ability to accept constructive feedback. Self-directed, self-starter, good communicator, and patient. Knowledge, Skills Abilities: Knowledge of and commitment to principles of excellence, integrity, respect, kindness, curiosity, patience, and emotional intelligence in the development of high-quality work and professional interactions. Knowledge of graphic design principles and practices, including image sizing, resolution, file formats, and technical specifications for print, web, social media, and video platforms. Knowledge of and ability to adhere to University of Arizona branding standards and guidelines across print and digital communications. High level of attention to detail and ability to review, proof, and produce accurate, polished, and professional communication materials. Ability to develop analytics and metrics reports to evaluate and demonstrate the impact of team initiatives and communications. Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative analysis methods and ability to analyze survey results and other data to identify trends, evaluate effectiveness, and inform process improvements. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize competing deadlines, adjust priorities as needed, and successfully complete projects from initiation through completion. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams. Knowledge of Microsoft business intelligence tools and applications used to develop, analyze, and communicate data and metrics. Knowledge of social media best practices, including Meta platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, Meta Ads Manager, and YouTube. Knowledge of multimedia storage, digital archiving standards, file organization, and media inventory management practices. Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions, established procedures, project requirements, and organizational expectations. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to respond appropriately and promptly to communications received through email, chat, text, and other communication platforms. Strong problem-solving and research skills, with the ability to independently locate, evaluate, and apply relevant information and resources to complete assignments and resolve routine challenges. Ability to receive, consider, and incorporate constructive feedback, demonstrate an open-minded approach to collaboration, and ask thoughtful, detailed questions to clarify expectations and ensure successful outcomes. Ability to demonstrate reliability and punctuality, including consistent attendance and timely completion of assigned responsibilities. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Premiere, and InDesign, or comparable proficiency with Canva. Proficiency with digital communication and collaboration platforms, including Mailchimp, Zoom, and Qualtrics. Proficiency with Google applications and analytics tools, including Google Forms and Google Analytics.
