Patient Access Rep

This Patient Access Rep position is with Phoenix Children's in Glendale, AZ. Posting Note: Are you a customer service driven and want to help children and families have a positive experience visiting our facility? Consider joining our team as a Patient Access Rep in our clinics at Avondale and Glendale! As a Patient Access Rep, you will guide families upon their check-in to their appointments, assisting with registration and answering questions they might have upon registration. This position is part-time, Monday-Thursday. This position will be at Southwest Valley (Avondale) Mondays and Thursdays, and Arrowhead (Glendale) Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The hours will be 8:00am-4:00pm Monday-Thursday The Patient Access Representative performs efficient and orderly registration of all patients. Acts as primary liaison for patients receiving professional and hospital services at Phoenix Children's. Prepares admission forms, obtains necessary documentation and signatures, and confirms demographic information when the patient and/or guarantor present for services. Collects co-pay and deductible amounts at time of service. Some travel from site to site may be necessary based on business needs of the department.
