Physical Therapist I

This Physical Therapist I position is with Phoenix Children's in Avondale, AZ. This position provides physical therapy services to a pediatric population, from neonatal through adolescence/young adulthood. Performs evaluation, formulates plans of care, and provides treatment of patients using modalities including exercise, neuromuscular reeducation, mobilization, heat/cold, taping, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound, specific to age and developmental/functional level determined by assessment. This position addresses routine problems in the work environment by assisting with or referring complex cases to other, more experienced team members and/or leaders. This role manages a daily workload, identifies routine issues in the work area, and solves problems with guidance from other professionals, as needed.
