Research Program Administrator, Rangeland Stewardship (Extended Temporary)

This Research Program Administrator, Rangeland Stewardship (Extended Temporary) position is with University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. Assist with coordination of day-to-day operational and administrative activities. Assist Principal Investigator with special projects. Assist with coordination of research and outreach activities. Support faculty, staff, and partners working on rangeland sustainability, natural resource management, public land policy, fire ecology, invasive plant management, and emerging biological threats. Maintain compliance with financial and accomplishment reporting requirements for projects. Track and manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Monitor subaward and vendor payments, purchase requisitions, and other project financial transactions to ensure adherence to sponsor and university policies. Organize and document project meetings and collaborative activities, and prepare quarterly reports using university financial systems, Excel, and Smartsheet. Organize fieldwork logistics, workshops, and stakeholder meetings. Support project deliverables through data collection, preparation, communication and reporting activities. Maintain data systems and reporting requirements. Facilitate communication among university researchers, agency collaborators, and community partners. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs): Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with shifting priorities. Ability to translate scientific information for non-technical audiences. Excellent oral and written communication skills for academic and non-academic audiences.
