This Respiratory Care Practitioner II Allergy and Immunology Days position is with Phoenix Children's in Phoenix, AZ. Posting Note: Join Phoenix Children's as a Respiratory Care Practitioner II in our growing Allergy & Immunology Clinic, where you'll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with pediatric patients while working in a collaborative outpatient specialty setting. This Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM position offers an excellent work-life balance with no weekends or holidays, making it ideal for Respiratory Therapists seeking a rewarding clinic-based role. As part of our interdisciplinary team, you'll partner closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and medical assistants to perform pulmonary function testing, respiratory assessments, patient and family education, and specialty respiratory procedures. We are seeking a highly organized, independent RT who enjoys patient education, thrives in a fast-paced clinic environment, and is passionate about delivering exceptional pediatric care. Required Qualifications • Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) • Current Arizona Respiratory Care Practitioner License • Successful completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapist Program • Minimum one (1) year of post-graduation respiratory care experience Preferred Qualifications • Pediatric respiratory therapy experience • Outpatient Allergy, Immunology, Pulmonary, or other specialty clinic experience • Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) experience • Post-graduation experience in a hospital environment • Current PALS certification • American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) membership You'll receive individualized orientation and training from experienced Respiratory Therapists, allowing you to build confidence and develop specialty skills in pediatric Allergy & Immunology.
