POSITION SUMMARY This position provides pre-boarding support to Banner Health’s new employee’s, which may include maintaining the integrity of recruitment data, scheduling appointments, assisting new employees with required paperwork, partnering with leaders and working with various teams across the organization. Performs a designated function, to provide a seamless delivery of service to customers, employees, candidates, and the hiring authority at all times. CORE FUNCTIONS 1. Investigate and retrieve correct information for primary sourcing the new hire and/or transferring employee, for their new position. This is making sure all licensures and certifications are up to date and within the current guidelines, required by Banner. 2. Working with our Recruitment, Secure Hire, Occupational Health and Employee Relations teams to ensure new hire is cleared to start and adheres to all Banner Health’s hire guidelines. Guide the new employees through this process as needed, to ensure a smooth flow is obtained, following up daily to ensure no problems arise, throughout the process. Effectively using all systems related to Talent Acquisition (TA), including the applicant tracking system. 3. Coordinate required paperwork to deliver to Clinical Education, so appropriate skills/training courses can be scheduled on required dates. Working closely with these teams to ensure we receive the proper clearances and training is scheduled, rescheduled or cancelled as needed, and in a timely fashion. 4. Processing, tracking and reporting of Employment Eligibility Verification. Ensuring candidate has completed properly, for a smooth onboarding experience. Providing excellent detail with a full understanding of process. Detail and attention needed to process correct documents through E-Verify. Working closely with the audit team and assist with any issues that arise daily. Scanning and auditing of all verifications. Assist with entering in Permanent Resident Cards reverification for current employees. 5. Conducting face to face onboarding workshops, while being a resource to answer any questions via email/telephone. Delivering one on one communication for candidates, ensuring that they are well informed on the company basic information and expectations, to ensure a successful first day. May develop itineraries while the candidate is on-site and ensures that all participants in the process are kept informed of their schedule and any necessary revisions. 6. Continual follow up with multiple teams and candidate to ensure all requirements are met by deadlines. Once clearance is established, connecting with varies team members to align next steps, to include applicant, recruiter, hiring manager, security, Clinical Education and HR. If clearance is not obtained, continual follow up with process to manage and support and work towards clearance. 7. Provides program support to other organizational programs, as needed or directed. This position is also accountable for participating in career fairs and other engagements, as appropriate. Coordinates logistics for New Employee Orientation sessions. Partners with Clinical Education, Occupational Health, Secure Hire and Security to ensure candidate hand-off occurs with hiring partners, so other stakeholders can follow through on their required activities. 8. Works under general supervision and primarily has departmental responsibilities. Interacts with other departments in order to recruit leaders and staff. Customers are internal and external and all candidates, recruiters, senior management. This includes having direct contact with candidates of all levels on a daily basis. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must possess a strong knowledge and understanding of recruitment as normally obtained through the completion of an associate degree in business, human resources, or related field. Must possess a general knowledge of recruitment/HR processes and service expectations as normally demonstrated through one year of related experience in a recruitment, human resources and/or staffing agency environment. Must have proven success working in a high volume, multi-faceted position that requires exceptional customer service, critical thinking, attention to detail, and multi-tasking. Must have advanced computer skills and customer relations skills. Must always demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
