The Global Merchant and Network Services Technology (GMNST) organization at American Express is responsible for modernizing the payments network to enable next-generation payments products. The team creates flexible merchant platforms to acquire, bill, pay, service and foster innovation, while enabling a payments ecosystem to connect and authenticate parties seamlessly and securely As a Senior Engineer, you will be a hands-on engineer building highly available and scalable distributed system on the cloud that contribute and drive our Global Card Network platform. Your primary responsibility is to design and develop capabilities for our next generation distributed transaction platform, supporting Amex card transactions while leading a team of engineers in Agile teams. You will work closely with other Senior Engineers, Product Owners and architects to achieve your goals.
