Job Title: Table Games-Poker Dealer Extraboard Department: Table Games/Card Room Reports To: Table Games Pit Supervisor or Card Room Supervisor Summary When dealing in Table Games: Deals Table Games in a manner that promotes speed, accuracy, and game protection. Controls game action and players. Ensures games are dealt according to casino policy and procedures. When dealing in Poker: Deals a standardized, smooth and mechanically efficient game. Controls game action and players. Ensures games are dealt and collections taken in accordance with casino policy and procedures. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. •    Demonstrates flexibility and proficiency in dealing both Poker and Table Games as assigned by management. •    Provides exceptional guest service by creating a professional, friendly, and welcoming gaming experience. •    Creates an atmosphere of hospitality and friendliness toward guests and team members. •    Communicates professionally with guests, department personnel, and management to resolve issues and ensure efficient operations. •    Understands and complies with all department, company, gaming regulatory policies, procedures, and internal controls. •    Demonstrates strong knowledge of all games dealt and maintains a high level of game protection. •    Maintains appropriate game pace while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and guest satisfaction. •    Notifies supervisory personnel of irregularities, disputes, procedural concerns, or other situations requiring management attention. •    Attends all required training and maintains certifications as required. •    Responsible for the enforcement of all applicable regulations under the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 31, Chapter X, including observing and reporting suspicious activity involving customers or employees. •    Maintains current knowledge of all applicable Title 31/Anti-Money Laundering requirements by attending required training and complying with all Minimum Internal Control Standards. Poker Dealer Duties and Responsibilities •    Checks in with the Shift Supervisor prior to the beginning of the assigned shift. •    Obtains and maintains a sufficient chip bank for game operations, change needs, collection drops, and jackpot drops. •    Begins each rotation in proper uniform and maintains professional grooming standards. •    Exchanges game information with the outgoing dealer when entering a game. •    Controls and manages assigned poker games while ensuring compliance with house rules and policies. •    Takes proper collection drops and jackpot drops. •    Notifies the Board Person, Coordinator, Floor Person, or Shift Supervisor of vacant seats and game activity. •    Calls the Floor Person for rulings, disputes, or decisions requiring supervisory approval. •    Informs the Floor Person of short-handed games prior to breaking the table. •    Understands and follows all Card Room policies and procedures Table Games Dealer Duties and Responsibilities •    Makes eye contact and greet guests by name, when known, upon arrival at the table and thanks guests when they leave. •    Keeps informed of casino promotions, special events, and property offerings. •    Ensures payouts are made quickly, accurately, and in accordance with established procedures. •    Opens and closes gaming tables by verifying and reconciling assigned inventories. •    Maintains the integrity and security of assigned games through proper game protection techniques. •    Performs all game procedures in accordance with approved dealing methods and departmental standards. Additional Duties and Responsibilities for Dealer III •    Primary Game Assignment: Dealers may spend up to 100% of their shift dealing roulette, depending on operational needs and table availability. •    Game Rotation: Shifts will typically include a mix of roulette and other table games such as blackjack and carnival games, assigned at the discretion of the pit supervisor or based on business demand. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. 6 months Table Games dealing experience in a professional capacity. Previous poker dealing experience strongly preferred. Must successfully pass dealer audition o    Dealer II – proficient in dealing blackjack and all carnival games. (more than 6 months experience) o    Dealer III – Dealer II + proficient at dealing roulette Other Qualifications: •    Must be reliable, trustworthy and posses a pleasant personality. •    Must have excellent customer service and communication skills. •    Must be dependable, trustworthy and able to handle pressure and stressful situations. •    Complies with all policies and procedures. •    Ability to work harmoniously with others and be a team player. •    Ability to handle pressure and difficult situations. •    Presents a professional and well-groomed appearance at all times. •    Must be able and willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings and holidays. Language Skills Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
