This Instructional Technology Professional II (Phoenix) position is with University of Arizona in Phoenix, AZ.
Troubleshoot and resolve A/V issues in a variety of learning environments. Respond to customer requests through ticketing and phone systems. Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repair of instructional technology equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Assist in the installation and configuration of new hardware and software in classrooms and labs. Test equipment for functionality and compatibility with existing systems. Provide training sessions or one-on-one support to faculty and staff on effectively using instructional technology. Maintain records of equipment inventory and service logs. Document recurring issues and solutions to improve future response times. Actively research new solutions, techniques, and products available, while evaluating the current technology in classrooms. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of the installation, updating and troubleshooting of classroom instructional technology and computer systems. Ability to diagnose and repair broken A/V, computer and network equipment. Knowledge of computer networking, audio and video equipment. Ability to be flexible to the rapidly changing needs of the department and the university. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to drive a golf cart.
