This IT Support Computing Analyst II (Phoenix, AZ) position is with University of Arizona in Phoenix, AZ.
Provide technical support to faculty, staff, and designated campus colleagues, addressing issues with applications, hardware, and network connectivity. Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems, escalating complex issues as needed. Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices and related peripherals. Assist with software installations, updates, and license tracking. Support user administration and permissions for enterprise systems such as Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Azure/Intune. Manage organizational units (OUs) in Active Directory under supervision. Troubleshoot and support the campus network to ensure user connectivity and access. Provide training and guidance to users on best practices for secure and effective technology use. Maintain documentation of service requests, issue resolutions, and hardware/software inventory. Collaborate with other IT teams to coordinate system updates, deployments, and new technology rollouts. Assist in implementing and maintaining IT security policies, anti-virus tools, and user access controls. Stay informed of current technology trends and recommend improvements where appropriate. Communicate effectively with end users and maintain detailed documentation when creating, updating, and closing incident/service requests. Create technical documentation for knowledge bases, ticket handling, process improvement, and technical manuals. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Working knowledge of Azure/Intune, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and endpoint management tools. Familiarity with networking fundamentals and troubleshooting. Ability to deliver excellent customer service and communicate effectively with users at varying levels of technical expertise. Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to lift, carry, and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
