This Lead Management Analyst position is with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (Department of Health and Human Services) in Phoenix, AZ. Health & Human Services, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Office of Security, Facilities and Logistics Operations, Business Operations Support Group (BOSG). As a Lead Management Analyst, GS-0343-14, Serves as an expert leading projects and coordinating, evaluating, developing, implementing, and enhancing administrative strategies involving financial management, program authority, human resources, training, time and leave, budget oversight, and management information systems. Key duties: • Leads the team in assigning and balancing workload based on priorities, skills, and specialization; adjusts assignments to meet deadlines and ensures each employee contributes to the team’s final product. • Represents team consensus and communicates findings and recommendations to team leaders, program officials, the public, and other customers on matters affecting team objectives, products, and tasks. • Tracks and reports progress toward milestones and deadlines and ensures team members are informed of and actively participate in planning and achieving team goals and objectives. • Provides guidance on business operations, finance, acquisition, HR, and administrative budget matters to OSFLO, OSPR, and EPRO; coordinates responses to related external requests for information. Leading team projects to ensure daily assignments support agency goals; 2. Managing administrative operations to support organizational objectives; And 3. Delivering operational briefings and component data to inform stakeholder decisions. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
