Postdoctoral Research Associate I, Immunobiology

This Postdoctoral Research Associate I, Immunobiology position is with University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. Independently design, conduct, and troubleshoot experiments; analyze and interpret data; and maintain accurate and complete records of research activities. Contribute actively to the intellectual life of the laboratory through participation in scientific discussions, lab meetings, journal clubs, seminars, and other research activities. Help develop research questions and experimental strategies, and contribute to the preparation of manuscripts, abstracts, presentations, and other scholarly products. Communicate research findings and scientific ideas clearly and constructively within a collaborative, multidisciplinary research environment. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of or experience with imaging mass cytometry, multiplexed tissue imaging, or related spatial profiling approaches. Experience working with human tissue, particularly formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue. Experience with RNA sequencing, transcriptomic analysis, or other high-dimensional molecular profiling approaches. Ability to analyze and interpret complex experimental datasets and integrate findings across complementary experimental approaches. Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently troubleshoot experiments and develop new experimental strategies. Ability to communicate scientific findings clearly and work effectively within a collaborative, multidisciplinary research environment.
