Postdoctoral Research Associate I

This Postdoctoral Research Associate I position is with University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. Review literature, conceptualize hypotheses, design and conduct experiments, analyze results, and publish in peer-reviewed literature. Build bioinformatic pipelines for analysis of genomic, electronic health records, and survey data associated with large scale biorepositories, such as the All of Us Research Program dataset. Analyze multi-modal and multi-omics data from clinical studies to facilitate discovery of biomarkers that influence drug response and adverse drug reactions. Prepare manuscripts and extramural grants, communicate analysis results with PI and collaborators, and present research results at conferences and national/international meetings. The exercise of independent discretion and judgement in carrying out research tasks. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Scientific writing capabilities and oral communications skills. Ability to work in a team, as well as an ability to work independently.
