Postdoctoral Research Associate I

This Postdoctoral Research Associate I position is with University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. Develop and test chemical methods for extracting, precipitating, and upgrading trace metals in aqueous solutions. Help optimize and scale up extraction, precipitation, and concentration systems for trace metals in hydrometallurgical solutions. Assist with chemical analysis and identification of metal and sulfur species in mine solutions, with additional experimental work as needed. Aid in supervising and guiding chemistry-related research activities by graduate and undergraduate students. Lead or assist in publishing and presenting results and in writing proposals.
