Recruitment Coordinator (College of Education) (Part-Time)

This Recruitment Coordinator (College of Education) (Part-Time) position is with University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. Serve as a point of contact for prospective students and families interested in College of Education programs and provide accurate information about academic programs through appointments, phone calls, virtual meetings, and follow-up outreach to assist first-year, transfer, readmit, and current students with program selection, admissions, and enrollment steps. Coordinate and participate in on- and off-campus recruitment activities, including school visits, college fairs, presentations, campus tours, information sessions, tabling, and community events. Assist with planning, logistics, materials, staffing, communications, and follow-up for recruitment programs and events. Represent the College of Education professionally and collaborate with University Admissions and campus partners to maximize recruitment opportunities. Support the recruitment, training, scheduling, and engagement of College of Education student ambassadors. Coordinate ambassador participation in recruitment events and provide the resources and guidance needed to effectively represent the College and share authentic student experiences. Support prospective student communications and outreach campaigns, including targeted messaging, event invitations, reminders, and recruitment materials. Maintain accurate student records and timely follow-up in Slate and other University systems, while collaborating with Marketing and Communications to ensure messaging is accurate, engaging, and student-centered. Build and maintain relationships with local and regional schools, counselors, teachers, community colleges, and education-focused programs. Support outreach activities such as classroom visits, presentations, field trips, and transfer initiatives that connect prospective students with College of Education programs, resources, and pathways. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of undergraduate recruitment, admissions, enrollment processes, academic programs, and student support resources; familiarity with higher education recruitment practices and CRM/student information systems. Skills in interpersonal communication, customer service, public speaking, presentation, relationship-building, event coordination, organization, and attention to detail. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with students, families, schools, community colleges, University partners, and community stakeholders. Physical Requirements and Environmental Demands: Lifting: Employees are frequently required to lift/move/transport no more than 35 pounds. Outdoor Environment: Employees work outdoors and may not be protected from weather conditions. Extreme Heat: Temperatures above 100 degrees for more than an hour.
