Summary
The Recruiting Manager will play a critical role in fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment at Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort. This position requires a leader who is culturally sensitive, supportive of the Salt River Community, and experienced in diverse environments. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong background in recruitment.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manages the Recruitment Team in the employment center of the Human Resources Department. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

A Manager level leader is expected to actively support ECMs in their professional and academic goals through:
* Program Awareness and Communication: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Pathways to Success programs. Ensure all ECMs are informed about relevant opportunities.
* Mentorship and Coaching: Actively mentor ECMs, offering guidance on career pathways and facilitating connections to additional coaching resources as needed.
* Resource Allocation: Allocate time and budget to support ECMs’ participation in developmental activities, such as courses, certifications, or conferences.
* Development Planning: Collaborate with ECMs to create and regularly review individual development plans, setting measurable goals and tracking progress.
* Barrier Removal: Identify and address obstacles that may hinder ECMs’ career growth, advocating for their needs within the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Develop and implement recruitment strategies that align with the Enterprises’ mission, vision and core values.
* Build and execute a social media recruiting strategy to attract top talent.
* Maintains a strong presence on professional networking social media platforms to proactively recruit top talent.
* Personally acts as the recruiter for all executive and top leadership positions.
* Lead the behavioral-based interviewing process to ensure the best fit for the team.
* Engage with the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community and other local organizations to participate in events to foster relationships and promote job opportunities.
* Maintain an inclusive recruitment practice that respects and values diversity, with a focus on Native Preference hiring.
* Provide training and guidance to hiring managers in creating, revising/updating job descriptions for their departments.
* Serve as the primary liaison with the Community Regulatory Agency, where it relates to the hiring process, thereby promoting a collaborative and professional working relationship to facilitate regulatory compliance.
* Provide training and guidance to hiring managers on effective and culturally sensitive recruitment practices.
* Track and analyze recruitment metrics to continuously improve the hiring process.
* Develop an online recruitment strategy utilizing job boards, professional networks, and recruitment platforms to source candidates.
* Develop and maintain strong partnerships with hiring managers to ensure alignment of recruitment needs and strategies.
* Utilize an applicant tracking system to streamline the recruitment process and ensure a seamless candidate experience.
* Ensure clear communication and provide regular updates during the hiring process. Informing and engaging candidates helps maintain a positive experience and demonstrates the company's commitment to transparency and respect.
* Manages a team of expert recruitment professionals, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure that goals and deadlines are met efficiently.
Education and/or Experience
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Bachelor's Degree (BS/BA) in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field from four-year College or university required.
• 5 years of experience in recruitment or staffing, preferably in a diverse or tribal community
• Prior work experience in a supervisory or management role required.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have excellent PC skills and a working knowledge of human resources information systems; Internet software; social media; Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Language Skills
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus.
