Research Professor, Immunology (Non-tenure Eligible) (MD, PhD, MD/PhD)

This Research Professor, Immunology (Non-tenure Eligible) (MD, PhD, MD/PhD) position is with University of Arizona in Phoenix, AZ. Develop innovative and collaborative immunology-related research. Obtain extramural, including federal, support for research programs and publish high impact scientific research in the broad areas of immunology-related research. Develop collaborations with pertinent faculty within the College and partner institutions; for senior candidates, lead larger programmatic initiatives (P, U and similar grants) in their related fields. Contribute to the teaching (medical, graduate and/or other education), mentoring and service components of the College’s missions. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills Abilities: Ability to mentor and guide students and trainees in clinical research projects. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with colleagues, students, trainees, and research partners.
