Research Technician II, Cancer Center (Full-Time)

This Research Technician II, Cancer Center (Full-Time) position is with University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. Carries out research projects following established protocols in order to meet the goals of a research group, maintaining logs and records of experimental data. Analyzes data and interprets research results; writes research progress reports documenting the experimental plan, data and interpretations, to communicate the findings to the team leader(s) and any collaborators. Involved and familiar with research studies being conducted, the applicable background, research protocols and procedures. As appropriate for the research project, uses and maintains scientific equipment needed to carry out the research tasks. Conducts library and computer searches for research; modifies established protocols to meet the needs of the project and improve tests that are unsatisfactory. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Basic knowledge of research content, practices and procedures.
